Preparing the AL AMAR portfolio.

Architecture.

Architecture at AL AMAR connects the site, the people who will use it and the practical demands of delivery. Our Cairo practice brings architectural design, interiors, masterplanning and landscape thinking into a shared conversation.

Start a conversation

Ideas with clarity.
Places with character.

  • Concept & detailed architectural design
  • Interior architecture & spatial planning
  • Masterplanning & landscape coordination
  • Building envelope & material strategy

From the brief to a spatial idea

The first task is to understand what a place needs to do: its programme, site relationships, users and constraints. Concept design establishes the organisation, scale and character before the team develops the building in detail.

Architecture, inside and out

Interiors and landscape are considered alongside the building rather than added at the end. The relationship between arrival, circulation, daylight, materials and external space helps create a coherent experience.

Drawings that support the next stage

Design development brings the concept into coordinated plans, elevations, sections and details. The precise documentation and level of information are agreed with the client for the project stage and intended procurement route.

Different programmes, the same attention

The published portfolio spans homes and residential ensembles, corporate workplaces, retail, hotels, industrial facilities, and recreation. Each starts from its own brief; a hospitality courtyard and a processing plant should not be treated as the same design problem.

Before we begin.

Can we begin with an early idea rather than a complete brief?

Yes. An initial conversation can help clarify the programme, site information and priorities. A complete project brief is not required to make an enquiry.

Can interior design and masterplanning be part of the appointment?

These disciplines can be coordinated within the practice. Their scope, outputs and relationship to the architectural appointment are defined for the particular project.

What should we share before discussing a design project?

A location, site or existing-building information, intended use and any programme constraints are helpful. Share what is available; further information can be identified together.
