Al Amar Engineering Consultancies (AEC) was founded in Cairo, Egypt, in 1995. The practice brings architectural and engineering consultancy under one roof, supporting coordination, project management and quality control through a multidisciplinary working model.
Our published portfolio spans residential, commercial, hospitality, industrial and recreational projects. The work responds to different sites and programmes, from a family’s homes in New Cairo to a courtyard hotel on the North Coast and an administrative building in Riyadh.
We connect design with the technical decisions and construction services that support its delivery. Management, supervision, contract administration, cost and quality management, procurement, commissioning and technical support are part of the practice’s published offering.
The exact role is defined for each project. Design consultancy, construction supervision and building contracting are different appointments; a portfolio image is not a claim that every discipline or construction responsibility was commissioned.

Each appointment defines its disciplines, deliverables and construction responsibilities. Commissioning and handover support are available within the agreed scope.
